What Is Moblyng?

What is the Moblyzer?

The Moblyzer lets you take all the neat stuff from your MySpace or Friendster profile and send it to your phone, or your friends' phones.

How do I make it work?

Enter your profile URL and select the stuff you want to send to your phone. If you have a private profile you can still use the Moblyzer, just enter your login info.

Will my phone work?

View supported mobile phones. If you can take a photo with your phone, you can probably get one! We send your stuff via SMS and access your data plan, so if you are charged for either of these things, keep this in mind. We recommend you subscribe to unlimited data if you plan to Moblyze a lot.

I can't see my stuff on my phone!

This could be for a couple of reasons. If your phone does not allow browser access or downloads you may not be able to get your stuff. If your phone does not support video you will not be able to view slide shows, though you can still look at all the pictures.

How do I send a gift?
Just fill in your name and the phone number or email address of the person you want to send a gift to. You can add a personal message as well. You don't need to register to send a gift.

How do I get a gift box?
Any place you see your gifts, you have an option to copy an embed code or post directly to a MySpace page. That doesn't just show off one gift, it gives you a gift box so you can see all of your gifts, and inspire your friends to send you more!

How does my gift box get updated?
Your gift box is automatically updated any time someone sends you a gift.

Slide Show:

Making a Slide Show

To make a new slide show select "Create a Slide Show". You can add photos using the options on the left, and change themes, styles, skins, etc., with the options on the right.

You can add up to three music tracks. Once you are happy with your slide show, select "Save" and you will see some options on how to show everyone your awesome slide show!

Editing and Deleting Slide Shows

To edit or delete your slide show, go to "My Stuff". There are a bunch of links to the right of your slide show that will allow you to edit or delete. You can also edit your slide show from the big "Edit Me" button on the page where you watch the slide show.

Once you delete a slide show, we can not retrieve it. If you want to remove a slide show from a social networking site, please follow these directions.

Friendship Slide Shows
By turning your "Allow Copy/Edit" setting on, your friends can make a copy of your slide show and then edit it with their own photos, captions, etc. So say Mindy throws a big party, she can post her party pictures in a Moblyng slide show, then I can copy it and add mine and caption two of hers, then Sara can grab mine and add her party pictures and change my caption and add three of her own. Your original project always remains intact, and you can see all the copies and changes people have made on the right hand side.

If you did not create an account...

If you choose not to create an account on Moblyng there is still a lot you can do, including sending gifts and making slide shows. We still save your projects until you ask us not to, or your computer clears its cache. This is so you can come back and edit projects or create an account if you change your mind later. We also recommend that you clear your cache or log out of your account if you are on a public computer so that your stuff is secure. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT WE CANNOT RETRIEVE YOUR STUFF. Your computer cache may clear without you realizing it, so if you think you will want to edit your stuff, we strongly recommend you create an account.

Commenting and Rating

You must create an account and log in to comment on or rate slide shows.

Private Slide Shows

Private slide shows are slide shows that you have more control over. They do not show up in your Moblyng profile, and they do not have the "Share" button in the upper right if you choose to post them to your MySpace profile. To make your slide show private while editing or creating a slide show, select "Private" under Privacy in the right hand menu.

Troubleshooting Slide Shows

- Large photo files will take a while to upload.

- If you select a lot of photos at the same time, it may also take a little longer for the photos to upload.

I want to save my slide show to DVD or CD

Sorry, at this time this option is not available at Moblyng. You can share your slide show via email, social networking site, or mobile phone.

Copyright and Other Video Guidelines

You are responsible for any visual material you include in your slide show that might be copyrighted or trademarked.

You retain full ownership of your material. There is a section about offensive material in the Terms of Use, but we thought we'd take this opportunity to remind you.

The Terms of Use states that you will not "transmit (a) any content or information that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, blasphemous, harmful or otherwise objectionable, or infringes our or any third party's intellectual property or other rights; (b) any material, non-public information about companies without the authorization to do so; (c) any trade secret of any third party; or (d) any advertisements, solicitations, chain letters, pyramid schemes, investment opportunities or other unsolicited commercial communication (except as otherwise expressly permitted by us)."

If you think it's the kind of thing that we would pull down and suspend your account over, you're probably right. Think before you post.

Reporting Offensive Material

We're counting on the Moblyng community to help us monitor the site. If you see something inappropriate on the site, please flag it using the option to "Flag as Inappropriate" under the share box.

If you see your copyrighted material in a slide show, are the parent of an underage child using the service or have other immediate concerns please contact us at support@moblyng.com.

Want to remove your slide show or gift box from a social network? To remove a slide show from a social networking site you need to log in to that site. If you only delete your slide show on Moblyng, you will still have a box on your MySpace, etc., page.

Log into your social network site (MySpace, Friendster, etc.)
Look at the "Edit" option for the section your slide show is in, and remove the code that looks like this

If you have more than one slide show and you are trying to remove only one, you can identify different slide shows by looking for the
"<div><embed src" which is how the code for each slide show begins.
